Donavan S West

Founder & President

Donavan West is a seasoned, high energy, multi-dimensional leader. His CV is linked HERE. Donavan founded the BBA, deeply moved by this historic moment and the compulsion for accelerated action across the board.

His current thoughts and feelings are well reflected in this quote:

“The depth and breadth of structural racism and inequity embedded in America’s social, economic, and political systems has perhaps never been more widely apparent. The disproportionate impacts of COVID-19 on communities of color and the continued mistreatment of African Americans at the hands of the police have given rise to an extraordinary moment in the history of the Greater Philadelphia region, the country, and the world – a moment in which centuries of racial and economic injustice are calling out for leadership.” (Economy League of Greater Philadelphia|HERE)

We will increase the presence & voice of these entrepreneurs as they positively impact our business economy.

  • A disproportionate percentage of the over 50 million displaced workers are Black, activating the entrepreneurial mindset for survival & success
  • We are more than retrenched employees; we are all entrepreneurs, owners of emerging enterprises and distressed small businesses who must “accelerate” into this new era of reconstruction.
